Today we learned the third type of factoring: Somme et Produit (Sum and Product). Homework: Finish textbook questions (except #21) and if you didn't have all of the practice questions from Monday and Tuesday done, finish those as well. In-Class Assignment Friday (Sep 28), Quiz Monday (Oct 1), Test Wednesday (Oct 3) Extra help tomorrow at lunch.
Today we continued factoring with the second type: Différence de carré In-Class Assignment Friday (Sep 28), Quiz Monday (Oct 1), Test Wednesday (Oct 3) Students now have 2 quizzes and an in-class assignment back. They were given their up-to-date, overall marks today (written down in their books).

Tomorrow we continue with polynomials. Today we reviewed Friday's perfect numbers questions, looked at polynomials and did our first quiz. Tomorrow is the first in-class assignment (on everything we've done so far, including today). Be ready with your notes and a calculator. Remember these are like open book tests; you can use your notes but can't ask questions. Homework: look over your notes, practice a few questions and get organized.
