Week 4 AssignmentWeek 4 assignment has been posted (on Teams and on my website). There have been a lot of concerns from people who have trouble with internet and turning things in. While I encourage you to complete all of the work, it is not necessary for this course to pass in your work. If all your internet can handle is to open it up so you can see it, that is fine. Just get out some paper and write out your work. You are not required to turn it in to me on Teams. Please take the time to watch the videos, multiple times if possible, and complete the assignment. THIS IS COMPLETELY NEW so give yourself some grace because learning something new takes time and effort. Have your questions ready for tomorrow's online tutorial (11am). Happy windy Tuesday everyone :)

Week 3 Answer KeyPlease correct your assignment from last week and highlight any questions you still have problems with so that you can ask during the video tutorial Wednesday (or email your questions!) Happy Monday!
Week 3 AssignmentHere is this week's assignment on classifying triangles, missing angles, and Pythoagorean Theorem. Watch the videos and do your best to answer the questions. Please note that they very last question is EXTRA, for those who want a challenge. Online video tutorial is tomorrow (Wednesday) at 11am. (recorded to watch later if you can't make it) Please be prepared for tomorrow's tutorial by: 1- correcting last week's assignment with the posted answer key and having your questions about it ready. 2- attempting to complete this week's assignment and having your questions ready.
Week 2 Answer keyPlease use these to correct your work and if you have any questions remaining, email your teacher or wait and ask during Wednesday's online tutorial on Teams.
The following message was posted on TEAMSHopefully this will clear up confusion: READ CAREFULLY!This is how we are dividing up your 2 1/2 hours of math per week MONDAY: Answer key will be posted for the previous week's assignment in the "files" section of Teams in the "classwork" folder, or look on my website https://mmeparleesrhs.weebly.com/math-10-nrfgmf) YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is to use the answer key to do your own corrections, and highlight what you have questions about, so you know what you need to ask/get help with. TUESDAY: Weekly assignment will be posted. YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is to go through the assignment, watch all videos, multiple times if needed, and do your best to answer all questions (dig deep, ask your friends, look up more videos!). After you have done all you can, highlight which questions you need to ask/get help with. WEDNESDAY: Online video tutorial at 11am on Teams. I will be recording these tutorials so if you're not available at 11am, you can watch when it's convenient for you. It won't be a lesson. I will just be answering questions you have from the previous week's assignment, or clarifying the current week's (so be prepared and if you don't have questions you don't really need to watch). YOUR RESPONSIBILITY is to have already attempted to complete the current week's assignment. (If you didn't have time yet, just watch the recording later on). The rest is up to you, if you need extra help, you need to ask us for it (email or on Teams). If you find yourself getting through it too quickly, you need to let us know so we can give you what you need. It's hard enough to read minds while you're in the classroom, it's impossible to do online so please speak up and communicate with us, we want to help! ALL STUDENTS - PLEASE REPLY TO THIS POST WITH "GOT IT" SO MRS MUNRO, MR GUPTILL AND MME PARLEE KNOW THAT YOU READ THIS POST AND UNDERSTAND (otherwise we feel like we're just talking to ourselves...) Thank you!
Here is the answer key to last week's assignment (Week 1). Please check it against your answers and make necessary corrections.
Update: We're NOT doing a video lesson tomorrow (the big GMF group isn't created yet in Teams and it's the day that teachers are allowed to go to the school to get their stuff). HOWEVER, I do have your very first actual Math lesson/assignment ready! If you have trouble accessing it let me know and I'll email you a copy. This is your math for the week. I will post next week's work by next Tuesday (Monday is a holiday). We will still plan on doing a video conference next Tuesday and Wednesday at 11am, even if it's just a quick one where I explain the work for the week ahead or answer questions you have from the past week's assignment. Happy Tuesday everyone!
